Blenheim is the largest town in the Marlborough wine growing region in the northeast of the South Island of New Zealand. Blenheim is always in the hunt for the title of New Zealand's sunniest town but is often pipped at the post by its close neighbour Nelson. It has a population of around 27,000 and is situated on the Taylor and Opawa rivers.
